Nettie became part of the family when Taylor was in the 8th grade and was her “step-up” horse when her first horse was ready to retire. The two hauled many places and did everything from working cows to carrying the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame flag in the Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo. When Taylor went to college Nettie was turned out to pasture to enjoy her retirement and has really embraced naps in the sun. She’ll still whinny and come when Taylor whistles, but now instead of a nice long ride she expects cookies and the occasional grooming.
